Special Mention for the new AFL100 Series
The jury has awarded the AFL100 series with a Special Mention at the German Innovation Award 2023. This distinction is awarded to products whose design demonstrates particularly successful design elements or solutions – in other words, an award that demonstrates the commitment and hard work of companies and designers.
The AFL100 Street and Area luminaire series designed & engineered by WE-EF has impressed the jury and was awarded the ‘German Innovation Award – Special Mention’.
Compact design, intelligent construction – The sustainable approach of the AFL100 is expressed in its design: The flat, clean shape of the luminaire is timeless and fits into any environment, from residential streets to boulevards and the reduced luminaire volume compared to its predecessors saves on both material and processing steps. This was an important argument for the jury of this year’s German Design Award, which comprises design experts from industry, academia and science as well as the design industry
