Our luminaires are designed not only to last but to minimise their environmental impact during use. Night-sensitive lighting addresses the way light is used outdoors, balancing visual needs with the non-visual effects of light on humans, animals, plants, and the night sky. Our advanced LED optics and integrated light shields help prevent stray light and protect ecosystems.

We prioritise light quality and precision, directing light only where it’s needed.

Many of our luminaires are certified by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA), ensuring they meet the strictest standards for reducing light pollution.

Our luminaires integrate smart control systems for responsive dimming and adaptive lighting that reduces energy consumption and environmental impact. These systems allow for precise control, ensuring that light is used only when necessary.

We offer tailored luminaires with warm colour temperatures (2200 K and PC (True Amber) to minimise impact on wildlife, ensuring that light pollution is kept to a minimum.

At the Penguin Parade in an Australian nature reserve, WE-EF's innovative use of PC amber LEDs minimised the impact on local wildlife, reducing blue light exposure while ensuring safe illumination for visitors. The project also utilised WE-EF's ADSA Wildlife Prized luminaires, further reducing light pollution and protecting the natural environment.
