Intelligence of Light

Landscape Architecture and Gardens

Lighting up our landscapes responsibly

Download Presentation

As society and the environment continue to evolve, so do our opportunities to rethink the way we use light. By embracing innovation, we can create lighting solutions that enhance both human well-being and biodiversity. Our mission is to design products that foster harmony between people and their surroundings, shaping a brighter and more sustainable future.

Ecological Sensitivity

Effective landscape and garden lighting relies on precise light distribution, and optics technology is key to achieving this. By using well-designed optics, lighting planners can direct light to highlight specific features—such as pathways or trees—while minimizing light spill and glare.
When paired with LED technology, optics improve both efficiency and performance. Optical lenses or reflector systems focus light where it’s needed, creating desired effects without wasting energy. This control allows for energy-efficient designs that balance brightness and ambiance.
Incorporating advanced optics, along with features like dimming systems and motion sensors, helps achieve both aesthetic goals and environmental standards, making outdoor spaces safer and more visually appealing.

Project cases for Garden and Landscape Lighting

Gare sud, Nantes

The exterior of Nantes south station has just been renovated. This place, where a large number of
people rub shoulders, now has lighting that defines several spaces in one. Zones are marked by
luminous colors, creating warm and original atmospheres.

Spa Park Bad Mergentheim

The Bad Mergentheim spa administration modernized the lighting in the spa park with energy-efficient WE-EF CFT540 pole-mounted luminaires, equipped with RGBW technology and wirelessly controllable DMX technology. The new lighting concept enhances safety, reduces light pollution, and enables flexible, atmospheric illumination for events.

Rottnest Island, Australia

Rottnest Island, a pristine coastal destination off the coast of Western Australia, required a lighting solution that seamlessly blended with its natural beauty while standing up to the island’s harsh marine conditions. WE-EF’s corrosion-resistant luminaires, including the CFT530 and BUC230, were carefully selected to provide long-lasting, visually unobtrusive illumination, enhancing public spaces with warm, ambient lighting that prioritises both visitor experience and environmental sensitivity.
