John Hart to resume role as Head of Asia Pacific Sales
We are pleased to announce that from the beginning of 2025, John Hart, the Managing Director of WE-EF LIGHTING Thailand, will resume his role in charge of sales for the Asia Pacific region. John will work with Business Development Manager, Somchai Supalukworakul, to help grow the business in the region.
John joined WE-EF in September 2014 as a General Manager before becoming a Managing Director in 2016. He was in charge of Asia Pacific Sales from 2018 to 2022, overseeing major projects including Marina One (Singapore), The Jewel at Changi Airport (Singapore), Mahabodhi Temple (India) and The Okada Manila (Philippines).
Reflecting on these major projects, John says, “I really enjoyed these projects because they were all iconic and challenging in their own ways. A lot of discussions with specifiers, architects, landscape architects, engineers, and consultants were required to customise existing products or in some cases design unique new products which were tailored to the specific needs of the customer. I learned that understanding the needs of all stakeholders, devising solutions and regularly communicating these solutions with all involved allowed WE-EF to provide the customer with the best possible experience, and I hope they are still satisfied with the results to this day.”
Upon resuming this role, John states, “I am excited to help support specifiers and customers across Asia Pacific, and we hope to grow our market share with our new and existing products. As ever, we offer great flexibility to customers in the region as we have a full manufacturing facility in Thailand capable of responding to all their needs from design to final delivery.” John will also continue to head operations at the Thailand facility.
