Controls
Smart lighting solutions bring flexibility and efficiency to architectural lighting by dynamically adjusting illumination based on presence and movement. Eco Step Dim® Motion, combined with PIR motion sensors and smart controls, enables luminaires to dim when areas are unoccupied and brighten instantly when movement is detected, ensuring both energy savings and safety. These intelligent systems can operate independently or in synchronized networks, allowing for tailored lighting scenarios that enhance ambiance while minimizing light pollution.
Light Sources
The development of high-quality and efficient LED lenses is one of WE-EF's core competencies. WE-EF possesses the expertise for design, engineering and production. WE-EF is able to apply its expertise gained from long experience in the development and operation of LEDs. For example, at the SONY Center in Berlin, in 2004, WE-EF was involved in one of the first major LED projects. It was an invaluable advantage, both in understanding today's possible LED technology and in converting this knowledge into innovative lighting solutions.

Airport Berlin Brandenburg, Germany
At Berlin Brandenburg Airport, WE-EF provided a lighting solution using FLC141 projectors with special mounting spigots for the differentiated illumination of the open area. Eight 16-meter high light columns with integrated projectors were installed to avoid external mounting. The result was efficient lighting that met new regulations while ensuring an unobstructed view of the airport building, covering a 14,000 square meter area.
