Lighting that respects the night calls for the subtle presentation of facades or objects without light wastage caused by scattering. The right luminaires for this are ultra-compact, efficient and precise – like the new FLC201 LED projector as the smallest model rounding off the WE-EF FLC200 PP LED projector series.
The new FLC201 LED profile projector means that the FLC200 PP series now comprises no less than four LED profile projector sizes. With diameters of between 75 mm and 260 mm, and luminous fluxes of 670 lm to 6900 lm, they offer an exceptionally comprehensive toolbox for lighting concepts for sharp-edged projections. Like its “big brothers”, the compact FLC201 LED projector also offers the following three options – zoom projector [ZP], framing projector [FP] and gobo projector [GP] alongside the colour temperatures of 2700 K, 3000 K and 4000 K. The distinctive lens barrel protects the projection optics, which are constructed according to the optical bench principle.
Fascinating effects with gobo projections
Sharp-edged projections are becoming increasingly important as a sustainable lighting option. The new FLC201 projector enables small objects and architectural details to be illuminated with almost surgical precision, without scattering light into the night sky or the surrounding area. As a zoom spot projector, it creates a round, symmetric beam of light with a continuously adjustable angle. The framing projector has four framing shutters to illuminate a precise square. Thanks to durable metal and glass templates, the gobo projector can also project complex patterns and images – and even multicoloured graphics or photos. Fascinating effects can be created, for example, by projecting the precise contour of a building onto its facade. Such lighting enhances the three-dimensionality of the building, making it stand out from its surroundings, while also minimising light pollution.
One of the most compact projectors for outdoor use
As the most compact model in the FLC200 PP series, the FLC201 LED projector is the right choice when the need for an inconspicuous light source is paramount, and there is no need for extremely high illuminance levels or bridging of large distances to the object to be illuminated. The size and sharpness of the projection are fine-tuned on the installed projector by moving the respective lenses. Once they have been set up, the WE-EF projectors are maintenance-free and, like all products from WE-EF, they are built to last, thanks to the high-quality cast aluminium housing, 5CE superior corrosion protection and PCS-coated stainless-steel screws.
