New pendant rod solution for the DAS100 series ensures a precisely defined light distribution and direction, also for sloping ceilings
Robust ceiling luminaires with a high protection rating are needed not only for transitional areas between indoors and outdoors, but also for projects such as railway or underground stations. DAC100 surface-mounted luminaires and DAS100 suspended luminaires from WE-EF are a flexible system offering a wide lighting spectrum and intelligent mounting solutions.
The DAS100-PR now expands the DAS100 range as a new pendant rod solution that enables precise vertical alignment of luminaires, even on ceiling surfaces that are not horizontal. Ceiling slopes of up to 45 degrees are no longer a problem thanks to a joint integrated in the canopy which accommodates the pendant rod. The pendant rod suspension is available in lengths from 500-1,000 mm in 100 mm increments. With three different housing diameters and connected loads of 105 mm (12 W), 140 mm (24 W) and 195 mm (48 W) in the temperature colours 2700 K, 3000 K and 4000 K, the suspended luminaires together with the identically constructed DAC surface-mounted ceiling luminaires and a tuneable white version offer plenty of scope for individual design. This is especially so with their spectrum of different rotation-symmetrical light distribution patterns ranging from wide beam [B] to medium [M], very narrow beam [EE] and very narrow beam ‘sharp cut-off’ [EES].
The robust aluminium housing with a protection rating of IP 66 protects the lighting technology and driver from harsh environmental conditions such as dust, dirt and moisture. The lower part of the luminaire is made of safety glass. WE-EF’s special 5CE superior corrosion protection system also ensures that the luminaires keep their attractive appearance for many years to come.
